Steve was a steady member of our organization until he became ill. He had recently returned to meetings and started volunteering with us. Through it all he was thoughtful and helpful, offering his wisdom, knowledge and energy for the benefit of others. He will be sadly missed by all of us in the Communities United Against Police Brutality family.
We will be holding a memorial event to remember Steve on Saturday, October 11 at 5:00 p.m. at Walker Church, 3100 16th Avenue South in Minneapolis. Any friend of Steve is welcome to attend.
