Stephen Waldron Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home - Charleston on Jan. 22, 2026.
Stephen F. Waldron died on January 13, 2026 leaving behind John Capuziello his partner of 43 years, his brother Richard W. Waldron with wife Jean, his nephew Christoper Lyman Waldron, and his niece Patricia J. Waldron.
After 2 years at New Hampton School, Steve went to U.N.H., graduating in 1976. Having had enough of the New England cold winters, he settled in South Carolina with John to seek warmer climes. He is remembered best for his love of cars, finding jobs in a variety of car dealerships over the years.
Stephen was known by his friends and family as "Steve." He was quite a dreamer and always had a story to tell. If he wasn't talking about cars, he was regaling us with stories about his beloved Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.
