My first memory of Stephen was when he picked me up from the Fort Lauderdale Airport. I was about to visit Florida and a mutual friend of ours, "Julie", suggested Steve and I meet as she thought we would make great friends being we were both fun, adventurous and silly.
I was about to depart for FLA and I wound up in need of a ride from the airport to my friends house and Stephen volunteered to pick me up. As we all know, Steve is a very giving person who enjoys helping others, a person who would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need and go out of his way to make sure joy is always around the corner. Steve certainly did just that, not only did he pick me up, he had two tickets, in his hands, for the Tears For Fears concert starting soon, we loaded my bag in the trunk and off to an amazing concert we went! It was a memory I will never forget, Steve is a very special gift to anyone who ever met him... I will dearly miss miss and always think of him as I have many memories of what a wonderful friend he always was and will be. I am so sorry for everyone missing him and grieving him while I do know he is in Heaven surrounded by love and many new fans! God Bless all of you! Sincerely, Dawn
