Stephen Don Watson, 54, passed away from this life on the morning of July 12, 2024, in Kerrville. He was born on Nov. 06, 1969, in Dallas to Raymond Joseph Watson and Brenda Joyce (Miller).
At the age of 14, Steve and his family moved to Kerrville where he attended Peterson Middle School and then attended Ingram Tom Moore. Throughout Steve's life, he worked in construction learning all aspects of the trade from painting to cabinet making.
Steve was a true outdoorsman embracing nature. He loved to hunt and fish, and time spent looking for arrowheads and rocks.
His family describes him as the sweetest person you will ever meet. He truly loved and valued the time he spent with family and friends.
Steve is survived by his mother, Brenda; siblings, Rusty Watson (Tuesday), Christi Hunter, Kevin Watson, Cody Watson, and Marla Jean; aunts, Donna Ingram and Terri Russell; cousins, Justin Watson and wife, Jennifer & children, Kelly Lackey and husband, Philip & children; Darron Lackey and wife, Amanda & children, Ryan Rekart and wife, Megan & children, Rick Rekart and wife, Dustie & children, and Lacy Nicole & children.
He was preceded by his father, Ray Watson; grandparents, DT and Wanda Miller; uncle, Alan Ingram; and cousin, Christopher Russell.
Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter of your choice in Steve's memory.
