In loving memory of Stephen Eugene Yohe, 72, of Westlake, FL, September 6th, 1952 - August 3rd, 2025.
Steve, passed away peacefully on August 3rd, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. A devoted and beloved husband, father, brother, and cherished friend. Steve touched the lives of everyone who had the joy of knowing him.
Born in York, PA, Steve lived a life filled with love, humor, kindness, and dedication to those around him.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Lewis Yohe, Sr. and his brother Lewis Yohe, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Janet of 26 years, his daughters Madison (Evyn Lewis), Jenna Cowart (Jim), grandchildren, Ferrin, Waites, and Marilyn James, brother Jerry Yohe (Cindy), and many family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Steve was a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Civil Engineering and was an avid Florida Gator fan. Whether sitting on the porch doing his crosswords, or cheering on the Florida Gators, Steve always brought fun and laughter to every gathering. He enjoyed music, golf, and Nascar. He also loved spending time with his dogs Charlie and Duke, playing the piano, singing karaoke, winning every board game, and hosting family and friends. Steve leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and compassion. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his unwavering love for family and joyful spirit.
In remembrance of Steve's life and love, the family asks that those who wish to can make a donation to their favorite charity in his name.
A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 4, 2:00-4:00 pm.
