Stevan Jay Bailey

Stevan Jay Bailey, 74, of Magnolia, Arkansas left this earthly life on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Christus St. Michael Health in Texarkana, Texas. He was born November 29, 1951, in Malvern, Arkansas to the late JC and Syble Bailey and attended and worshiped at Jackson Street Church of Christ in Magnolia.

Steve was known for working hard starting with Alumax, Arkla Gas, Alcoa, and retiring from Magnolia Respiratory Care.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman and loved all things in God's creations of nature, especially deer hunting at Brister Deer Camp, fishing with family on Lake Erling, and watching nature shows on TV.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Gail Davidson; and grandson Brandon Bailey.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Nancy of Magnolia; two sons, Jason Bailey and wife Lacy of Greenbrier and BJ Bailey and wife Jody of Buckner; grandchildren, Jared Bailey of Siloam Springs, Shay Bailey and Story Bailey of Greenbrier; two step children, Jon Micheal Landes and wife Adrian and their family, Amber Petty and husband Aaron and their children, Aaron, Aryah, and Abram Petty all of Dallas, Cindy Landes and partner Bill of Dallas; a sister Denita Rosenbaum of Malvern; and a host of extended family of nieces, nephews, the mother of his sons, DeeDee Snyder, and the Brister Deer Camp.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Mickey officiating with burial to follow at Falcon Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Jackson Street Church of Christ or to Southern Christian Children's Home in Morrilton, AR.

Pallbearers will be Justin Shackelford, Kelly Keith, Korey Keith, David Cranford, Keith Dodson, and Chad Grouse.
