Stevan Paul Schutt, age 53, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away on September 16, 2025, after a long battle with cancer, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Flower Garden of Memorial Park, Braselton Funeral Home at 5257 Hwy 53,
Braselton, Georgia 30517, with Jerry Edmondson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, followed by a garden memorial service at 2:00 pm, and concluding with a reception from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Stevan was born on October 25, 1971, in Buffalo, New York, to Ronald Schutt and Mary Maxine Lenox. He loved his hometown and was an avid supporter of the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000 to further his education in architecture and construction management.
Stevan met his wife, Pamela, in 2003, and they married soon after, building a beautiful life together over the past 21 years. Their son, Camden, now 20, was the pride of their lives. Stevan's love for his family was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His dedication as a husband and father was evident in everything he did, and his family was always at the heart of his world.
Stevan was employed as an Architectural and Distributor Representative with Material Bespoke Stone and Tile, where he found great fulfillment in his work. He had been an integral and invaluable part of Material's growth since joining the company in March 2011. Colleagues who worked closely with him over the years knew him for his unmatched product expertise and deep architectural knowledge. As the longtime leader of the Atlanta showroom team, Stevan played a key role in designing many of the company's fireplaces. His stellar reputation with clients stemmed from a rare combination of creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering ability to "get it done." Stevan's love for hockey was immense, and his passion for the game ran deep. He was a lifelong supporter of the Buffalo Sabres, but his involvement went far beyond being a fan. His devotion to the sport led him to coach Camden's youth roller hockey team and manage his North Gwinnett Ice Hockey team, where he poured his time and energy into fostering teamwork, discipline, and a love of the game. His commitment to the team and to his son reflected the selfless, dependable, and passionate person he was in all areas of life.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Boiter Schutt; son, Robert Camden Schutt (Deni Traynor); father, Ronald Schutt (Diane Bentley); mother and stepfather, Mary Maxine Nutt (LaVerne); sister, Tracy Schutt Skuse (Matthew); nieces, Eryka, Emilie, and Amber; and his beloved fur babies, Laila and Willow.
