I light a candle for a man I am proud to call my Grandfather. I hope it'll be light that will guide him to see his family since his absence in life.

I still miss my grandpa steve even tho its been so long. <3

It's been a year and it still hurts. Thank you to all who sent us their condolences and love in our time of need. We lost so much in the passing of Dad and it is my hope that he'll always be remembered.

Dear Sue and all of Steves children; Weloved having Steve and Sue here for the last two summers.
Will miss him so much, a wonderful nephew.He is resting in the Lord.

So sorry to hear about my Uncle Steve's death, he was a great guy. I am so glad that I was able to see him at my Mom's 60th birthday party in Kenosha, WI.

I worked with him for a couple of years, and have not had the fortune of seeing him for over ten years. I am so numb and sick with sarrow,from hearing my Dear Brother had been in a accident and then had Died,I'm So glad I got to see him and Sue in August when they came out to see me and Todd and Family. and I always knew he would call me every saturday to keep in touch, I will miss that time so much. We send you our deepest and profound sympathy. We wish we were nearby to support and hug you all. When Pam had called to let us know, I was shocked and could not believe what happened to Steve. The accident and Steve’s passing has consumed me. I can not stop thinking about him and all of you. Steve was such an amazing loving and gentle soul. The love and laughter he possessed and shared with others was a true gift. Our lives were blessed by knowing him and his incredible humor. We had not seen Steve since Uncle Joe’s funeral, but we spoke on the telephone. Our last conversation was this past Christmas and as usual, was filled with banter and hysterical laughter. I will cherish the memories. May you all find comfort in knowing that Steve will never leave you, he will be with you forever and live in your heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dad, it seems that none of us was ready for you to be taken from us. I know you were not ready either...you told me. It is obvious that your work here was done. you brought two families together, you made one woman every happy and it showed in her glow. You were there for all us...I never remeber you telling me no when I needed something and I never knew you to be mad at me or anyone for that matter.
