STEVE COULSON of Decherd passed this life on Monday, September 1, 2025 at his residence at the age of 67. A native of Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late James Ira and Geneva Bernice Champion Coulson. He was a machine operator and enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, working on small engines and squirrel hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Coulson; brothers, Larry Coulson and Randy Gipson and sister, Phyllis Stewart.

Mr. Coulson is survived by daughters, Kortney Strickland and Kassandra Strickland, both of Decherd, Tiffany Bradford (Grady) of Tullahoma; son, Aaron Coulson of Tullahoma; sisters, Diane Hill (Stanley) of Decherd, Janice Baker (Bobby) of Scottsboro, AL, Patty Shetters of Estill Springs and Rhonda Sherril (Kenny) of Decherd; brothers, Donald Coulson (Hughlene) of Estill Springs, Wayne Coulson of Decherd, Bobby Coulson (Cathirene) of Manchester and Terry Gipson of Winchester; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2 PM at the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with burial to follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 PM until the service on Wednesday.
