Steven Charles Crouch, son of the late Calvin “Leon” Crouch and Caroline May Presley, was born on April 29, 1963, in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this world on April 18, 2025, at his home in Springfield, Missouri, with family around. He was 61 years, 11 months, and 18 days of age.

He was united in marriage to Janice Marie Brown in Nixa, Missouri, on May 19, 1984. One daughter was born to this union.

Steve started off working with his father-in-law, Mitchell Brown, at B&B Insulation. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He, however, found his career at SFI for over 25 years. He made many friends and acquaintances there.

Steve and Janice lived in Nixa, Missouri, for over 20 years and later moved to Springfield, Missouri. Steve loved spending time with his family as well as going back roading, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends. He loved the summer and being outdoors.

Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Marie (Brown) Crouch, on December 10, 2019.

He is survived by his daughter Jamilin “Jami” Marie (Crouch) Chainey, of Republic, Missouri, two brothers, Ronnie Crouch of Ozark, Missouri, and Roger Crouch of Springfield, Missouri, one sister, Diane (Crouch) White and husband, Jamie White, of Houston, Missouri, as well as other relatives and friends.

The family has also requested that donations be made to Lone Star Cemetery.
