Dear Kathy,
I just learned of Steve's passing today. I ache for you. Even just last month I was remembering a quartet Steve and I sang in at Pillar. I was singing the song out loud at home and remembered a part Steve had trouble with. We all were laughing and having fun at Pillar that day. I am heart broken for you in your loss. Steve was a kind, gentle man. I recall working with you at Pillar in the kids' programs. What fun we had. I ache for your loss. I am remembering you today and always. Heaven is blessed with Steve's presence. I remember Steve being so kind to my Curtis, who is rocking it out in Heaven with Steve. All my love to you!

I just found out today that Steve had passed. I had stopped into Van Hill furniture, and the salesman informed me of Steve's passing. He was such a good friend, softball competitor, and a very helpful person. I will miss him. He always had a kind word.

As you remember your love one, as God heals your broken hearts (Psalm 147:3), may your cherished memories continue to bring you peace, comfort, and strength to endure.

Dear Kathy, Leah and Mike, Lucas and Shannon, Mr. and Mrs Dykstra, family and friends.
Steve will be dearly missed by the Matlock family. As our neighbor for nearly 16 years, he made us laugh out loud daily, always greeted us with a smile and kind words, and was there to help and guide Brad when he needed a good Christian man to count on. He was always kind and patient with our girls when they wanted to visit the goats,. We enjoyed many fire pit nights with all of you and will truly miss his friendship.
I know we will see him again some day in heaven and hope to sit by the fire of Jesus' light .
I pray that Our Heavenly Father grants peace, healing, and bountiful blessings on Kathy, Leah and Mike, Lucas and Shannon, Mr. and Mrs Dykstra, family and friends.
With Love,
Marc, Krista, Kate, Brad, Sara and Alli
