Steve Epps

Steve Michael Epps was born June 4, 1973 in Jackson, MS to Mr. Steve Lewis and Ms. Annie Epps Davis. He accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized in Jesus Name. He attended Pentecostal Temple Church of Jackson, MS. Steve matriculated through the Jackson Public School System, and graduated from Jim Hill High School of Jackson, MS. He was employed by First Baptist Church, Jackson Academy The Equine Center, Trade Mart, Fairground and The Mississippi Coliseum.
Steve was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edgar Epps Sr.; grandmother, Lena Epps Williams; uncle J.W. Shoulders; uncle Earnest Lee Epps, and uncle Robert Edward Epps.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Annie Epps Davis; stepfather, Frederick Davis SR.; son, Marquadious Butler; daughter Jayda L. Johnson; sisters: Judy Epps (Orlando) Bogan;La Tonya Shoulders; Cindi Epps. Brother, David Epps; Jeff Lewis; and Frederick Davis Jr. Uncles: Edgar (Monica) Epps Jr.; Willie Earl (Mary) Shoulders; William Shoulders; Jimmie Epps; Sidney (Phoebe) Epps. 4 aunts, Anna Moore; Nancy Epps; Bessie (Kenneth) Shoulders-Williams; Jacqueline Epps. 2 grandchildren: Mackenzie Butler and Marquadious Butler Jr. 3 Nieces: Oriana, Orinada and OrMyiae Bogan. 1 great nephew, Kyrie Brown; 1 god-daughter, Jaeviona Epps; 2 best friends: Ray Charles Riley and Joshua Johnson 3 godbrothers Ronnie, Chris and Danny Bourne and a host of cousins.
