Steve was born in Prince Edward County in Virginia to the late William Amos and Ann (Cody) Harvey. A graduate of Osbourn High School in Manassas, VA, Steve served as the Class President in 1969. Steve was proud to serve his country in the US Army. He spent a career in Sales, beginning alongside his father who was a home builder in Virginia. He went on to work in sales for various retail electronic stores. Upon retirement, he began a second career as a Park Ranger which he loved dearly. He was an avid hiker racking up 3 separate 900 Miler awards for his time on the trails in the Smokies.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Reponte; daughter, Annie Lovering and son, Troy Harvey; grandchildren, Layla and Conner; brother, Gary Harvey and special friends, Kevin and Heidi Dooney.
Military honors will be rendered on behalf of Steve Harvey 11:00 AM Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Tellico Marina, 1000 Marina Harbor Dr. Maryville, TN 37801.
Honors will be provided by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard and the US Army.
