Steve Hope Obituary
Steve was a man who loved deeply and lived simply but fully. Nothing meant more to him than his family, especially his three daughters – his "three girls." They were the pride of his life, the joy of his heart, and he never missed a chance to tell anyone how blessed he felt to be their dad. Later in life, his grandbabies brought a new kind of light to his days and gave him yet another generation to dote on.
For 38 years, he shared a beautiful life with his wife Shan, his soulmate and steadfast companion. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. She was his best friend, his partner in every adventure, and the one he loved traveling the long roads of life with – whether they were exploring new places or simply enjoying the comfort of being side by side.
He found joy in the quiet things – a good book, an early morning with a hot cup of coffee, and his routine of journaling about his days. His home was his pride; he poured his heart into the land, tending it and landscaping it until it looked like a place out of a state park.
More than anything, he loved his Lord and Savior, whose presence guided his life and gave him peace. He will be remembered for the tenderness of his heart, the steadiness of his hands, and the deep love he held for his wife, his three girls, his grandbabies, and the place he called home.
