Steve Hutcherson, 68, of Halls, Tennessee, died on Monday, February 12, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, July 26, 1955, in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Louis Hutcherson and the late Katie Hightower Hutcherson. Mr. Hutcherson was retired. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends making special memories.
Funeral services for Mr. Hutcherson will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Holy Hills Baptist Church located at 475 US-51 By-Pass in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeremy Ballinger and Rev. Dennis Knowles. Interment will follow at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery in Ripley, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Hutcherson will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Holly Hills Baptist Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Shelby Hutcherson of Halls, Tennessee and future son-in-law, Jake Wheeler; three brothers, Jimmy Hutcherson (Lisa) of Ripley, Tennessee, Danny L. Hutcherson of Jackson, Tennessee and Jerry Hutcherson of Halls, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy Kaye Ross.
Honoring Mr. Hutcherson as pallbearers will be Justin Tittle, David Spikes, Ethan Ballinger, Tony Lawrence, Jeremy Smith, Derek Hinson, Kyle Hinson and Jake Wheeler.
