Steve Magarian was such a kind and thoughtful human being. It was an honor to see him and his family and play his favorite song on the grand piano at Fort Washington. When my family hit a bump in the road, Steve shared his personal cell phone and gave my son excellent advice. God Bless Steve and his family. May he rest in Peace. Grandpa Lenny Heifetz

I am so honored
To have been able to take a class that he taught at Fresno State! He by far was one of my most favorite professors. May his memory live on.
As he would always tell his students "Just do the right thing"

JoAnne and Family
So sorry to hear the passing of Steve. He was one of a Kind. He was compassionate, caring but protecting the community that was Steve. I would see Steve when he was Sheriff,he had 1000 things on his mind but the first thing he would say"hows your mom, How's Aunt Martha? "And always with a handshake and a smile. Steve's Uncle and my aunt were married, and Steve would call me Cousin. That was a Great Honor. Steve was not only a Great friend but a Mentor to many people.Memories last a lifetime, and we have many Great Memories. RIP Dear Friend.

He served and protected this community for many years. Thank you for your service. When I first met Steve I addressed him as Sheriff Magarian. He said, please call me Steve. What a personal man. Until we meet again rip.

The most gentle, kindhearted soul. Blessed to have known and worked alongside him while he was our Chief of Investigations. Always remembered us and our family. Sending love and light; his legacy will last for generations to come.
