Funeral services for Mr. Steve Allen Mattison, 68, of Ouachita Parish, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ricky Bonette officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Mattison was born on February 11, 1957, in Farmerville, LA, and passed away on May 10, 2025. He was a loving father, avid trumpet player, and devoted grandfather.
Mr. Mattison is preceded in death by his father, Hugh Mattison.
Survivors include his mother, Rethie Mattison; sister, Peggy Mattison Thurman (Mike); children, Stephanie Mattison, Audrey Mattison Bartlett (Shawn), Steve “Jacob” Mattison, Jr., and Matthew Mattison; grandchildren, Justice and Gabriel Huggins, Maddux Lockwood, and Lucas Hunt; nephew, Bobby Harrison; and niece, Erin Bauer-Stottlemyre.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
