Steve Montador

So sad to hear of this! After Starting a Genealogy tree, I've found Steven and his family are related.

I know this was a couple of years ago now, but I send my deepest sympathies to you all.
I wish I'd had the chance to meet him.

Always will be remember that he followed his dreams. He believed in himself and his abilities to reach hard to catch that star. Fondly remembered by the Heron family and the good times in his Minor Bantam year with the Mississauga Senators.

Please know there are many thoughts and prayers directed toward the Montador family. I met Steve when he arrived here in Saint John to join the AHL Flames. I had been given the heads up from Dave Fisher, the Pete's chaplain. Steve and I had some good times together. I appreciated his support of the team chapels. He asked many of the deep questions of life. He had such a big heart. When I was in Toronto at one of our Christian Hockey Camps, Steve came out and brought the Calder Cup so the kids and staff could see it. We grief with you at this difficult time.

Your Dad/Grandpa had purchased Champagne if the Flames won the playoffs and our Manager had said we could have a drink if they won. Such was our devotion to Steve and namesake grandson.
