WATERBURY – Steve Henry Montreuil, age 54, of Waterbury, Connecticut, passed away on September 30, 2023, surrounded by the love and comfort of family and friends. He was the loving husband to Linda (Farkash) Montreuil.
Steve was born to Raymond and Joyce (Vincent) Montreuil, on January 16, 1969, in Waterbury, Connecticut. Steve held many titles in his life, from roofer to propane technician but his favorite role was being a loving, devoted father and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. He was always there to offer support, whether he was helping change a tire, repair a roof, or just providing love and reassurance. He was a sweet and compassionate person who had a remarkable ability to connect with others. His kindness and humor made him easy to love and he will be deeply missed.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his wife Linda, and children, Justine and her husband, Timothy, Steve Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, Alexandra and Ricky, and grandchildren Gianna, Charleigh, Emma, Logan, Clayton, and Raymond. He also leaves his siblings Donna McGuire and her husband, James McGuire, Diane Murray and her husband, Robert Murray, David Montreuil and his wife, Lori Montreuil, in addition to multiple nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his older brother Ricky Montreuil.
A Tribute Service in Steve's memory will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury CT 06705.
