So very sorry for your family's loss. Steve was such a kind and patient man. He took my senior photos in 1990. He had so much talent. I know he was sick. Thank goodness he is no longer suffering and is now at peace. Thinking of you all.

I met Steve in our Sophomore year at MCHS. Steve proved to be an easy person to become friends with. Around six years later, I left Mason City forever, while Steve and his new wife had entered military life in the Air Force, and go on to raise a family.
Sadly, I had, over time, lost track of Steve´s journey through his too-short life.
Rest in peace, Steve. Maybe we can stir things up a little again a little further on down the road.
