Steven Larry Angel passed away on September 13, 2025, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, just one day after celebrating his birthday on September 12, 1964, in the same city he made hi home throughout his life.
Steven's journey was deeply rooted in the landscapes and community of northern New Mexico. Steven found joy and purpose in working with his hands. He had a passion for repairing Vehicles - a skill that not only showcased his mechanical talent but also reflected his dedication to helping others.
Whether it was fixing a neighbor's truck or tuning up a family Car, Steven approached each task with care and pride.
His love for the outdoors was equally determining. He spent countless hours in the mountains surrounding Las Vegas, cutting firewood and harvesting moss rock. These moments in nature were more than hobbies; they were expressions of his connection to the land, a source of peace, and fulfillment.
Family was at the heart of Stevens' life. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Bianca Martines Sancher and her husband Trinidad Sanchez; Christina Angel; Steven Angel; and Venerito Angel. His Siblings - Roman Angel and Wife Beckj Erlinda Lujan and husband Eddie Lujan, Georgia Regert; Phillip Angel and wife Carol; Angela Angel Menard: Maria Ellena Cuillan and husband Mario; Martina Angel and partner Ruddfo Hernandez; Uta Ortega. Steven also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, Cousins, nephews, and nieces who will carry forward his memory. He was preceded in death by both his parents, brother Richard Angel, Cecililo F. Jaramillo III, and Marty Lujan. Faman of faith, Steven was a member of Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church. Steven will be remembered for his love of family gatherings, time spent under open skies, and the quiet satisfaction he found in hard work. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
