Steven E. Blais

Steven E. Blais, 45, of Ware, died suddenly on Friday, July 7, 2023 at UMass Memorial Hospital –Harrington Campus.
He leaves his daughters, Stephanie E. Blais and Kyra J. Blais of Ware, and his son, John D. Blais of South Hadley; his mother, Betty J. Karcher-Blais and her husband William Collins of West Springfield; as well as his father, Steven P. Blais and his wife Louise of Indian Orchard. He also leaves his grandmother, Verna DeAngelis, one brother, Eugene W. Blais, and two sisters, Maria J. Blais and Katherine A. Alberto. Also, three step-brothers and three step-sisters as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steven worked as a Maintenance Technician at Overlook Care Center in Charlton for about a year. He loved to cook and grill up tasty food as he was passionate about the way he cooked. He also loved music anywhere from classic rock to rap to a little bit of country and almost everything else. Watching movies, playing video games and getting to the beach when could were favorite pass times. He was also a very caring person and was always willing to give a helping hand anyway he could. He will be deeply missed by all.
A Celebration of Life for Steven is being planned for a later date.
