Always friendly, always helpful to his neighbors, always smiling, always looking at you, Barbara, with love for you in his eyes. Always remembered.

I am shocked to know that Steve left us too soon. I took some classes with Steve back in the 80's and recall his wit, organization and generosity. I wish his family the comfort and the knowledge that Steve was a truly fine and kind man. He will be missed by many.

I had the pleasure and honor of working closely with Steve at Harris Corp. on a fascinating DARPA project that advanced LIDAR technology. I will never forget his enthusiasm, brilliance and fun-loving ways. RIP my dear friend, you are sorely missed.
