I'm very sad to hear of Steven's passing. I grew up in Washington DC on 4th Street NW a few houses down from him and his brothers Marc and Alan. I've many fond memories of us playing cowboys and raiding all the apple, cherry, boysenberry, etc. trees in the neighborhood, including the grape vine tree in Steve's back yard and his uncle ran outside with a broom to shoo us outta the yard, ran right by me (thank God) and hit one of the kids named 'Monkey Ears' in the head causing a gash over his eye. Boy those were the days!
