Steven Cesaro

Steven Cesaro, 45, of South Toms River, passed away on February 11, 2023. Born in Toms River, he lived in Barnegat for the last three years before returning to South Toms River in December 2022.
Steven earned many nicknames such as "Super-Hero", "Handyman Special", "MacGyver", and "Mad Mutant". He always came to the rescue when any of his friends or family were in need. Steven was a third generation Electrician but, also a "Jack of All-Trades," that could repair or construct just about anything. He kept himself busy with projects and arts from restoring cars and bikes to drawing and even cooking.
Steven loved his family and enjoyed helping his mother ever since he was a child. Steve's best friend was his wife Melissa. They were inseparable soulmates that could be found together almost anytime. Anyone that knew Steve knew his love for his two sons Kenny and Little Steven. He often spoke of Little Steven's intelligence and accomplishments in the sport of Wrestling. He loved Kenny and was proud to be the man he was in Kenny's life. Steven often spoke of how proud he was of both of them, and the men they would become.
Steven has touched all his friend's and family's hearts. He will always be remembered as a giant teddy bear with a warm heart. Steven is pre-deceased by his Father John Vaonakis, and survived by his Mother Debbie Cesaro, Wife Melissa Chiorazzi, Sons Kenny French and Steven Cesaro, Sister and Brother-in-Law Donna and Shawn Barwick, Brother and Sister-in-Law David and Angel Wahlers, Brother Richard Wahlers, Sister Jessica Wahlers, and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Visiting hours are Friday, Feb 17th, from 2pm to 4pm, and 7pm to 9pm. Prayer services will be at 8:30pm in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, in Bayville. Flowers and/or financial donations can be arranged in the links below.
