Steve Chamelin, born on February 8, 1962, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025, at the age of 63. He was the beloved son of the late Johnny Ray and Bobbie Lou Farmer Chamelin.
Steve spent his life working diligently, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in his passion for working on cars. His hands were rarely idle, as he took great pride in fixing and restoring vehicles, a hobby that brought him immense satisfaction and peace.
He is survived by his cherished daughter, Miranda Chamelin Brim, and her husband Andy, as well as his adored granddaughter, Carla Brim. Steve also leaves behind his brother, Michael Chamelin, who shared many memories with him throughout the years.
Though no formal services will be held, Steve's family encourages those who wish to honor his memory to consider making a donation to the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission, an organization that reflects the values he held dear.
Steve's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love for automobiles, and his gentle spirit.
