Steven A Charron, 74 of Ceresco, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 30th 2025. Steve was born December 4th 1950 in Barre, Vermont to Marius & Mae Charron. Steve’s family moved to Ocala, Florida when he was 9 years and remained there until 1973 when he met his wife Evelyn and moved to Michigan to start a family of their own. Steve worked construction and at Ralston Purina before taking a position with Calhoun County where he would eventually become the facilities manager and retire after 38 years in 2013. Steve was an avid woodworker providing many pieces of furniture for family and friends. He really enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, golfing but most of all he enjoyed doing those activities with his family and spending weekends with them around the pool. If you knew Steve he had a lot of staple sayings (another day in paradise) and nicknames for his loved ones including, Darlin, Baby doll, T-bone, Rooster, Sweetie Pie and many more. Steve led worship and taught adult Sunday school for many years. He loved sharing his faith and love for God and definitely lived his life in a way that would be pleasing to the Lord. He was proceeded in death by his parents Marius and Mae Charron and his eldest sister Elaine Potts. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Evelyn Charron, his daughter Leah (Ed) Peet, Son Timothy Charron. Grandchildren, Taylor (Matt) Henrich, Evan Charron, Ty Peet, & Elayna Charron. Great grandchildren Myles and Evelyn Henrich. He is also survived by 4 Sisters, Trudy (Al) Gomez, Sylvia Childress, Charlene (Rob) Hancock and Tammie Butler. Steve will be so greatly missed by many but he always said, “when the good lord is ready to take me home, I know where I’m going and I’ll be ready”. If you knew Steve, for him, it finally is “another day in paradise” A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 12th. At Woodland Church @ 15510 A Drive North, Marshall Michigan 49068 Visitation 4:30-5:30 Service at 5:30 with a dinner to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Woodland Church Marshall campus in Steve’s honor.
