Steve was a special person in my life. I am certain he touched everyone he met in the same way with his positive look on life and endless optimism. I cannot imagine the sense of loss to his family and friends out East. We were all blessed to know him. When I study his picture I hear his laugh. Thank u for sharing this wonderful man for a short time- with his Loyola family.

Head heart wrangle words steve wrote so many years ago. I am a Loyola graduate and have searched the internet for years hoping to find Steve and catch up with his accomplishments in life. Routinely- I search for his name without success. Today I found news I never imagined I would find. To Stevens mother, Herta, his family, and closest friends- I cannot believe this wonderful man is no longer present in your lives. I know he left this earth a better place because of his thoughtfulness and generous spirit. I now share the grief you are suffering and feel that it was a gift to know such a person as Steve. Thank you for sharing the photograph posted on the page. I am happy to have been able so say goodbye with this photographic image in my mind. Vicki Wright, Loyola, 1982

We are very sad to learn of Steve's passing: we will miss his ready smile, kindness, and gentle intelligence. We will miss him.

Heavy hearted I found out about his passing. All my love goes out to my family, Ann and family. I will include us all in my prayers. He was the best uncle one could ever have.
