Steven survived a motor vehicle accident in 1984 but sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Steven was cared for by various group homes but mostly with At Home Living Health Care Group in Cokato.
Steven enjoyed taking care of his fish and watching TV. He loved MN Vikings, MN Twins but mostly enjoyed professional wrestling and trips to Dairy Queen.
Steven was preceded in death by his dad, Edmund. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn (Lehn) DeMars, brothers Dennis (Tina) DeMars, Michael (Lisa) DeMars & Scott (Heidi) DeMars as well as a sister, LuAnn (John) Benton and several nieces and nephews, and many other friends and relatives.
The family would like to give special thanks to his AHL family for the many years of caring of Steven.
Services will be held Friday, February 27 th at 10am at St. Alberts Catholic Church.
Funeral arrangements made by The Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, MN.
