Steven Vincent Dorazio

Dorazio, Steven Vincent
was born October 18th, 1963 in Inglewood, CA and passed away peacefully in Tucson, AZ on May 3,
2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfonse Dorazio and Rosemary (Heffron) Dorazio. Steve
is survived by his two children Alicia Hall (Stephen) and Nick Dorazio, his grandchildren Christian and
Makayla and his sisters Terri Dorazio, Christie Guzman (Ricardo) and Lori Ference (Joseph).
At an early age, Steve had an affinity for sports. When Steve was 9 years old, the Dorazio family moved
from Westchester, CA to Tucson where Steve focused on Pop Warner football and Little League
baseball. He attended Canyon Del Oro High School where he continued to excel in sports and was
recognized as "Most Inspirational" player in the 1981 football season. He also was the catcher on the
CDO baseball team. When he no longer participated in sports he loved to follow professional and
college sports, especially the Arizona Wildcats.
Steve graduated from the University of Arizona with a Degree in Business Administration. He also
graduated from ITT Tech with an Associate Degree in Electronics (Valedictorian of his Class). Steve
utilized his education working at the Western Army Aviation Training Site (WAATS) as a Helicopter and
Airplane simulator technician for the last 26 years.
Steve will be most remembered for his sense of humor and his willingness to help friends and family
whenever needed. He was known for his excellent cooking and barbecuing skills and his passion for
politics. Steve will be greatly missed by all who loved him, but will live on in our hearts and memories.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in his honor on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at
11:00 at Vistoso Funeral Home, 2285 E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, Oro Valley, AZ 85755.
