Steven Paul Duckworth

Steven Paul Duckworth, age 67, passed away on November 23, 2025, in his Tulsa home. Steve was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 1, 1958, and was the oldest of 3 siblings. He was a member of the Tulsa Memorial High School class of 1976. After graduation, Steve spent a few years working in Construction. That work afforded him valuable experience that he used throughout his life as a "do-it-yourself" guy. After deciding that he didn't want to work outdoors as a career, Steve attended Tulsa Community College and Oklahoma State University which led him to a career in Information Technology. He worked for companies like American Airlines, Bank of America, Marriott and United Healthcare. Those jobs enabled him to live in many states across the country such as California, Maryland, Georgia, Florida and Minnesota. Steve became a father in 2004 when his son Austin was born. He took immense pride in Austin. Steve's joys were his cats, riding motorcycles, boating at the lake or on the bay, and spending time with his friends. He began some of those friendships in junior high and was spending time with the same people a few weeks ago.

Steve is survived by his son, Austin Cole Duckworth, who is currently proudly serving our country as a PFC in the Army, brother David Duckworth of Tulsa and sister Patti Duckworth of Tulsa. He was preceded in death by his mom Joyce Duckworth and his dad Bob Duckworth.

A causal Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
