Steven Ross Dunlap

Steven Ross Dunlap, 28, of New Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was born on September 27, 1995 in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. He was born a son to the late James Michael Allen Dunlap and Rebecca Anne Bainbridge Taylor. He was united in marriage on October 7, 2022 in Callaway County to Kaylin Marie Bubach, she survives at their home. They renewed their vows with family and friends on October 7, 2023 in Montgomery City, Missouri.
Steven was a graduate of Jefferson City Public High School. He was a welder and worked for ABB/Hitachi after he graduated high school until six months ago when he went to work for Avial. Steven liked, Lego's, his knife collection and anything mechanical. He would rather be outdoors and enjoying the peace of nature while mowing his lawn.
He is survived by his wife Kaylin; parents: Jeffrey and Rebecca Taylor of Jefferson City; children: Zander and Phelan Dunlap, Ayanna Harris and baby Steven Dunlap due in December; sisters: Lisa Haas, Debra Ann, Sommer Taylor and Areill Williams; paternal grandparents: Sharon Evans of Paris, Illinois and Joan Taylor of Eldon, Missouri; maternal grandparents: Richard and Carole Bainbridge of Montgomery City, Missouri, as well as many nieces, nephews, the "Pack" and many other friends and family. Steven was preceded in death by his father: Michael "Red" Dunlap; step-mother: Linda Dunlap; grandfather: Jim Taylor; and great-grandmother: Lavern Schmidt.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a visitation with a funeral service following at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor David Viles officiating.
