When Steve started at Lakeside in 1994 as an inside sales person, I "took him under my wing" and trained him how to sell our products to consulting engineers and owners. He was a diligent student who loved Lakeside. Steve eventually moved into the position of regional sales manager and finally advanced to become our company president. He was a colleague and a close friend. He always sought my advice on technical and company issues. Even after my retirement last year in 2021 (see photo), Steve would regularly call or E-mail me for advice. I am going to miss him greatly and so will everyone at Lakeside. I wish comfort and healing for his wife and sons. I know that Steve was a person of strong Christian faith and is now in the loving arms of our Savior.

We are profoundly sad for your loss - please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. It was truly an honor to know and work with Steve. He was a unique person...great leader, intelligent, thoughtful, and inspired excellence. He was also a friend to many of us. He will be missed.
