Steven Effinger Obituary

Steve was born on January 28, 1950, in Evansville to the late Frank and Mary (Martin) Effinger. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.
Surviving Steve are his children and their spouses, Jon and Sarah Effinger and Tara and Justin Osborne; a sister, Jane (Bob) Fischer; brother, Ernest (Linda) Effinger, and grandchildren, Maddie and Matthew Osborne.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by sisters, June, Marilyn, Betty, Janice and Charlotte and by brothers, Frank, Charles, Jerry, Clemon, William, Ora, Robert, and Jack.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 PM on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where the Marine Corps League will conduct a walk through at 6:00 PM.
