Steven Ira Fine

I remember playing music together with Steve and what a fantastic drummer he was. I didn´t have as much experience as him playing out live and in clubs but always got the reassuring nod and smile he gave when I was in the pocket as a bass player. I always looked foreword to playing music with him.

Dear Maureen, Laura, and the entire Fine family, I will miss playing music with Steven and recording ...I apologize for not being able to attend services I have been undergoing physical therapy and unfortunately finding out about Steven's passing last Friday evening from a call from Terry Senander couldn't reschedule my appointments for acupuncture and physical therapy due to spinal cord injuries from when I was serving in the Navy. What can I say that you haven't already heard...I loved Steve... it is strange that he should passed on before me.
I talked to Steven less than a month ago in regard to John Keen's memorial services and he mentioned he was having test. I love you all and you are as always in morning and evening prayers.

All the great Jams with Steve and Laura over many years at many events. Steve was loved by all. What a kind soul. Keep the beat wherever you travel Steve and show them the way.! Peace

Steve, thank you for sharing your beautiful music and kind heart with all of those lucky enough to be near you. You were so one of a kind. I will forever cherish the memories of hearing you play with and for your friends. Sending my sympathies to Laura, Dale and all the Fine Family.

Anytime I had the honor to play with Steve. He had an effect on me that put me right in the zone. And lock into his groove. Amazing Drummer!!
