Steven J Fletcher

Steven J. Fletcher of South Lyon died Thursday, September 28, 2023 of pre-
existing health issues.
Steve was born November 14, 1964 in Ionia, Michigan to Dolores Fletcher-
Schmitt and the late Robert Fletcher.
Steve was a Senior IT Manager of Global Tax and Customs for General Motors.
Steve had a strong love of family, his precious sons, Ryan, Sean and Kyle Fletcher.
Step-children, Leah, Dalton, and Madelyn Jensen. Also surviving are Steve's
brother, Ken Fletcher (Tammy), sister Melinda Brown (Steve), and Kelly Ferris
(Roger). Steve also has several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew.
Also several aunts and uncles and step sibling.
One of Steve's greatest joys was to spend good fun quality family time. He would
always say the Fletchers surround the wagons around family.
Steve also had a great pride in community. He was a Trustee on the Lyon
Township Board. A defender of right and wrong. He always tried to make the
best decisions around the township residents. Steve also spent many years
coaching Panther Football and baseball. He enjoyed working with the guys and
helping them to become better men on and off the field. Steve loved his friends.
Greeted everyone with a big smile and a bigger hello. Always enjoyed a good
time!!
Steve loved to travel. He always wanted to make memories. To him those were
most important. Jil was fortunate to be his partner in crime and they enjoyed so
many different adventures together. Their love was undeniable!!
Steve will be greatly missed by his wife, Jil, family, friends and community.
