Steven Joe Fredell

Steven Joe Fredell, 67 of Cadillac passed away March 12, 2026 with his children by his side. Born on January 24, 1959 to Gordon and Gladys Fredell.

Steven married the love of his life April 18, 1981. They lived their lives together in Cadillac where they raised their children. He devoted nearly 40 years of work at Rexair. He gained many friendships through his career. Steven lead his life devoted to his family ensuring that everyone was cared for and spending as much time with them as possible. Anyone that knew him, knew they could rely on his generosity whether it was help with fixing their car or just moral support through life changes. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and travel to visit friends and family.

Steven is survived by his children; Scotty (Jessie) Fredell of Mesick, Amanda (Jay) Wilkins of Cadillac, Grandchildren; Allen, Emmy, and Brandon Wilkins; Siblings Weston (Lisa) Newell, Jerry (Jeanne) Newell, Chuck (Barb) Fredell, Brian Fredell; brother in laws Raymond (Anita) Foster, Bill (Lynn) Foster, David Foster, Randy (Diane) Foster, Tom Albrecht; sister in laws Dorothy Foster, Rachel Foster, and Desiree Foster. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Steven is preceded in death by his loving wife Donna Fredell, Mother Gladys Fredell, Father Gordon Fredell, sister Ruthann (Jim) Newell-Kain, Lori Albrecht, Brother George Fredell, Mother and Father in law Anne and John Foster, and Brother in law John Foster. Celebration of life to be held at a later date in 2026. Arrangements are being handled by Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home in McBain.
