As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

Steve:
As your family must still miss you terribly, so do I miss my father who passed away last year. Perhaps you have met him in heaven already, considering his love and your interest in baseball. My dad knows every statistic there is to know and you should look him up and introduce yourself. . . he would really like that and you would enjoy his stories of all the baseball greats!

Steve's tribute is so appropriate. Steve, you were the one who always recognized and supported my continuous hard work and efforts for the sake of the company and at my own health expense. I will never

forget what a wonderful, down-to-earth "manager" you were and your

not being here is a great loss to

the company and world. This world

needs more people like you!

As a tribute to 9/11 many of our city's choirs and symphonies performed Mozart's Requiem in the Basilica on the one year anniversary. I received a pin with Steven's name on it. I will pray for his widow and children that they will heal from this great loss. May they know that his love transcends time and space.

We are very sorry for your loss of Steven. May his life and love live on in those who love him. May you always feel the warmth of his love radiate into your hearts. Our hearts cry with you in your loss of Steven.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I met Steve for the first time the day before September 11th at a golf outing. He went out of his way to say hello to me as he heard I worked at Marsh in New York. He certainly did not have to go out of his way, but he did.

I just wanted his family and love ones to know that I will not forget his kindness.
