Steve Hoffmann, 74 of New Franken passed away on September 20, 2025. He was born January 23, 1951 to the late Marvin and Patricia (VandenHouten) Hoffmann in Sturgeon Bay. On June 1, 1973 he married the late Deborah (Machurick) Hoffmann.
Steve enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends and spending time in the “Shed” drinking Busch light. Even in the hours before his death he was talking about deer hunting. He enjoyed having special time on Wednesdays with his granddaughter Anna getting donuts, making lunch and watching games shows making jokes about the contestants.
He is survived by his son Chad (Stacy) Hoffmann; daughter Jean (Jonathan) Doxtator; grandchildren Anna and Blake Hoffmann Avery and Elliot Doxtator. Siblings Randall Hoffmann, David (Susan) Hoffmann, Pamela Trick, and Jill Hoffmann; many nieces and nephews.
Per Steve’s wishes there will be no public burial. His final resting place will be beside his wife Debbie at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
A special thank you to his neighbors Gary and Bev for always looking over him and helping with anything he needed after our mom passed away.
