Steven Jones Obituary
He was born November 16, 1944 in St. Louis, MO, son of the Truman Jones and Adelle Curd-Jones.
Steven had worked as a truck driver for Eubanks before retiring. He loved drag racing, all of his friends and family would agree he is a legend at the Sikeston Drag Strip.
He was married to Della Moser Barrick-Jones, she survives of the home.
Other survivors include five sons, Steven Jones Jr. and Chuck (Kathy) Close, David Knight, Ricky (Elizabeth) Skelton, and Matthew Barrick; three daughters, Raschell (Tim) Hodgkiss, Crissy Williams, and Michelle Ferguson; one sister, Karen Jones; grandchildren, Ricky D (Jordan) Skelton, Britney Learue (Michael Gillespie Jr.), and Jake Hodgkiss; several other grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Maria Gillespie and Michael M. Gillespie III; and his sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Shannon Jones Sr.; three brothers, Roland Jones, Wesley Jones, and Ricky Skelton Sr.; one sister, Sharon Jones; and one grandson, Ashton Lee Skelton.
