Mr. Steven Erick Ray Kirkpatrick

Steven Erick Ray Kirkpatrick, 35, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Barstow. He was born November 6, 1977 in Torrance, California, and had lived in Barstow most of his life. Steven graduated from Central High School in 1996, and attended Barstow Community College. He was a member of the Barstow-Boron Masonic Lodge, F&AM #682 and was honored to be a part of that fraternal organization. He enjoyed honing his culinary skills with friends and family, and loved his golf excursions with his buddies, especially his best friend Randy Cortez. Steven and his wife Jessica enjoyed being in the desert, to camp, practice his marksmanship or just play in the dirt, and loved the New Orleans Saints. He was a cherished member of the Mead Mortuary family, and approached his job as he did his life, with dignity, respect and compassion. Steven is preceeded in death by his father, Dennis Ray Kirkpatrick. Surviving Steven are his wife Jessica, son Jackson, sister Jaimie and her daughters Emma and Allie, brothers David and Jeff and sister Christie, mother Bonnie, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. He was blessed to have wonderful people in his life. Memorial Service for Steven will be on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road.
