Steven Lee, more often known as “Steve-Lee!” was born in Hong Kong to Wing Sheung Lee and Mee Kim Lee, and big sister Janie Cheung (nee Lee). Steve came to the United States when he was one, and lived in Manhattan until he was a young adult, at which time he came to Long Island. While on Long Island Steve came to know Jesus and shared his love for Jesus (and the 80’s) with many people through working at the Christian Bookstore and attending Northport Baptist Church, Dix Hills Evangelical Free Church, and True North Church. He married Elizabeth and they have two amazing children, Kim Marie and Joseph. He worked as a transportation supervisor for Huntington Coach and then Kings Park Central School District. Steve was well known for his love for the Lord, his amazing sense of humor, and his uplifting spirit. To know Steve was to love him, and to laugh… a lot.
Steve passed on and went to be with Jesus on November 19, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lee (nee DeRiso) and children Kim Marie and Joseph. He is also survived by his mother, Mee Kim Lee, and sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Joseph Cheung. He also has loving parents, Joseph and Jane DeRiso, sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Tyson Alston, and nephews Dante and Nunzio Alston. He is also survived by the amazing Nunziata DeRiso as well as so many loving extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Wing Sheung Lee.
