Steven Paul Limback

Steven "Animal" Limback, 61, a resident of Calumet, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his residence in Calumet, Michigan.
Animal was born on March 9, 1962 in Laurium, Michigan to William and Gloria Limback and graduated from Calumet High School. He worked as a cook at Jim's Pizza for 36 years until his retirement.
Animal; as everyone knew him, had a love for adventure in his younger years. He loved to dirt bike, fast cars, and was a collector of unique items. He loved to take day trips, spending time at the camp, fishing, and taking side-by-side rides. He was a kind and a generous friend to everyone. He loved his family, kids, and animals, especially his dog "Tilly."
Animal is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Limback, brother in-law Gary Kamppinen, nephew Taylor Johnson, and grandparents Ethel and Joe Limback and Ferris and Homer Baillargeon. He is also preceded in death by his special friend Jimmy Kleven.
Animal is survived by his father William Limback, sisters Brenda (Gary) Kamppinen and Linda (Steve) Stubenrauch, nephews/nieces Mandi, Alex (Katie), Ben (Kirsten), Anessa (Jimmy), great-nephews/nieces Draven, Marley, Audrey, Ava, best friend and buddy Ralph Huffman and "His Girl" Tilly.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm in the Siskiwit Reception Hall in Calumet, Michigan.
