Steven Matthews Obituary
Dunn, NC: Mr. Steven Graig Matthews, age 44, of Tart Road West passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Devotional Gardens in Dunn. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Jones.
Mr. Matthews was born on August 6, 1976 in Harnett County to Royster Eldridge and Martha Diane Holmes Matthews of Dunn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Travis Scott Matthews. Mr. Matthews was a certified welder.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughters, Devan Bell and husband, James of Erwin, Heaven Leigh Matthews and Ada Grace Matthews both of Dunn; grandson, Jaxon Samuel Bell; nephews, Dylan Matthews and Harlee Matthews.
Mr. Matthews will be available for viewing from 12:00PM-5:00PM on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC. The family will not be present during this time. The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Coats Community Church, P.O. Box 488 Coats, NC 27521.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
