Steve McColloch, 65, of Minot, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in a Minot nursing home.
Steven Gregory McColloch was born February 7, 1959, in Minot, ND to parents Dallas and Joyce (Gregory) McColloch. He grew up in Minot attending various schools in the area, and later graduated from Minot High School in 1979.
Following high school, Steve enlisted in the United States Navy. He was stationed at Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia for most of his years of service, while also spending a brief time at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Connecticut.
After his time in the military, Steven lived in Daytona, FL where he spent time working for an underground sprinkler company. He later returned to Minot and began a position working in civil service with the North Dakota National Guard until retirement.
In his free time, Steve enjoyed cooking and grilling. He also spent a lot of time hunting and fishing around the state.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Joyce.
Steven is survived by his brothers, Stuart McColloch, and Stacy McColloch; sister, Sherri (Phil) Moore, and nephew Brad McColloch.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home.
