Steven E. Michaud, 71,
Moline, IL passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in
Davenport, IA. On Sunday, March 3, 2024 there will be a visitation from 12-2:00 PM with military honors presented by Milan American Legion Post 569 following at 2:00 PM at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be made to the family.
Steve was born on August 28, 1952 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Madeleine (Sylvester) and Emery Michaud Jr. After high school, he served in the United States Army. Steve was a man of many trades throughout his career and retired as an insurance agent.
On October 7, 2014 Steve married Melissa (Buckles) in
Davenport, IA and inherited another big family. Together they adopted a yorkie, Teddy, who was Steve's best buddy. Steve and Melissa enjoyed bowling, golfing, casino trips, going on picnics with Teddy and having fun on many adventures.
Steve was one who would do anything for anybody and made everyone he met smile.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Melissa "Missy" Buckles-Michaud; daughters, Holly, Heather, and Hope Michaud; stepchildren, MacKenzie and Noah House; grandchildren, Bryce and Jackson, and Marley and Harper; siblings, Danny Michaud and Susan Hess; sister-in-law, Kelly Michaud; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Michaud; and brothers, Gary and Brian Michaud.
