Steven A. Mohr

Steven Arthur Mohr, 77, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his home.

Steve was born in 1948 in Washington, D.C., the son of the late Samuel and Catherine Mohr. He was a graduate of Robert E. Peary High School in Rockville, MD. Steve proudly served our country in the United States Air Force as a military police officer. He served 2 tours in Vietnam, rising to the rank of Sgt. He was a founding member and volunteer with the Shenandoah Farms Volunteer Fire Dept. Steve was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Front Royal. He also belonged to the Secret Squirrels Motorcycle Club, a charity group helping the needy. Steve was also a die-hard Redskins fan.

He married Judith Ann Grellner on April 17, 1971, at Andrews Air Force Base. She preceded him in death on November 8, 2021.

Steve is survived by his sons, Robert Mohr (Etsuko) of Zama, Kanagawa, Japan, Michael Mohr (Jessica) of Front Royal, VA, Chris Mohr (Sarah) of Stephens City, VA; grandchildren, Ben and Sakura Mohr of Zama, Kanagawa, Japan, Garrett, Marley and Blake Mohr of Front Royal, VA and Clifton and Abigail Mohr of Stephens City, VA, and his sister, Diana Mohr Coll of Mt. Airy, MD.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a service to be conducted at 3:30 p.m. all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steve to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 4110, Glen Allen, Va 23058.
