Yesterday

Luke 1:37 Sheilds of strength for nothing is impossible with God.

My dearest sympathy to the Nelson Family. Steve made it to the gym -rain, shine, even tornado warnings. He would max out the Leg press with ALL of the 45 lb weights the gym owned!!! He was truly a light of sunshine and he always spoke about his lovely family and how proud he was of his kids. How much he loved his wife, such a beautiful bond. And how wonderful it has been to spend time with his mother. I wish y'all had more time together. I will miss being able to talk to Steve at the gym. He was full of life lessons and was the same age as my dad. God was always present with Steve. This life on earth is short. The song: 'This world is not my home' I sang at church I hope y'all give it a listen.

I'll attend in spirit to the funeral because I am tending to my new born, she is just over a week old.

Goodbye for now my friend. I'm sure you will be working over time watching over your family.

I pray for peace, love, strength, and comfort for the Nelson family.

Kindly,
Amber Paniagua

My deepest condolences to your entire family and friends for your loss. I am truly grateful to be able to say that Steve was a great friend to me. Though it´s been over 25 years since we last saw one another, I was incredibly saddened to hear the news.
I´ve been thinking back to our time as roommates(Mark too), all the great times we shared playing hockey, golf, and bowling just to name a few and the sheer energy Steve brought to everything. I´ll never forget his passion for those muscle cars, motorcycles, and boats, or his intense dedication to always making it to the gym and working out. Steve was a force of nature and a great friend to me back then.
I can only imagine how hard this is for you. Wishing you peace and comfort as you navigate this difficult time.
With sympathy and love,
Larry Garvey

Steve was a good guy that went way to young. Our prayers go out to his wife and family. Steve showed horses with us years ago and we had some great times together. He will be missed. Love, Keith and Maureen Krichke
