Steven Michael Poponi, 47, passed away suddenly on Tuesday October 31, 2023, in Fayston Vermont. He was born on June 17, 1976, in Voorhees NJ.
Steve has been in the music industry for almost three decades. This includes playing in various bands, co-owner of The Gradwell House Recording Studio with David Downham, teaching, doing live sound at countless venues and touring as a sound guy with so many bands, some of which he considered family.
Steve touched so many people. He showed his love through sarcasm and if he liked you, he was making fun of you. He will be profoundly missed.
Steve is loved and missed by his wife Nicole Poponi of Audubon NJ; his daughters Jane and Clara, who adored him; his mother Roseanne McGovern and her husband, Hal; his father Chris Poponi and his wife, Cheryl; his brother Anthony and his partner, Kara; his sisters, Amy Hall and her husband, Matt, Rebekah and her husband Jesse; his brother-in-law Stephen Bontempo and his wife, Nadine. Steve had many Nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles he loved dearly.
