Steven Roy "Steve" Woods, 72 of Columbus, Georgia died Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Magnolia Manor.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 02, 2026 in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery.
Steve was born August 31, 1952 in Richland, Georgia son of the late Marion and Betty Jo Cowart Woods. Steve retired after 22 years of service with TSYS. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and BBQ cooking. Steve was a graduate of Stewart County High School.
Other than his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his son Steven Woods.
Survivors include his brother; Troy Woods and his wife Gloria of Columbus, Georgia, Sister; Patricia Woods of Jacksonville, FL, Nephew; Marc Woods and his wife Whitney of Columbus, Georgia, Niece; Rachel Sewell and her husband Taylor of Wrightsville Beach, NC, nephews, Howard "Sonny" Harris, Jr. and Todd (Desiree) Harris all of Jacksonville, FL and three great-nieces; Morgan, Caroline and Brooke McCullough.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to PAWS Humane 4900 Milgen Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 in memory of Steve Woods.
